| All Fieldcraft Instructors | – Associates Degree or Higher, or be able to complete their degree in one year while still being an instructor
– Prior deployed experience in an uncertain or hostile environment and recent operations within the past 10 years such as: Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom or New Dawn. – Proficiency in use of the following computer programs: MS Office Suite (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); Adobe Acrobat. – Legal capability to possess a firearm(s) pursuant to Title 18 U.S.C. 922; i.e., a person without a past history of crimes, illegal immigrants, mental defects, a fugitive, etc. as listed in the code. – Mental and physical capacity to pass and maintain currency in the Air Force small arms qualification course of fire on the M9 (handgun) and M16A2/M4 (rifle) for arming group A as outlined in AFI 36-2226. – Valid state driver’s license and be capable of driving government furnished vehicles in day and night conditions. – Current certifications from the American Heart Association and have the ability to recognize signs and symptoms requiring first aid and perform basic first aid, cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an automated external defibrillator (AED). – Physically capable of instructing/supporting students in field conditions, capable of lifting 50lbs unassisted and running 500 feet (not simultaneously). – Pass a background check that would not preclude handling weapons, ammunition, or pyrotechnics or represent a risk to U.S. Military personnel (Team FSCX additional requirement) – Ability to pass an initial sixty (60) day customized training course at the Expeditionary Center |
| Site Manager | – Three (3) years of management experience in combat training, planning and execution as well as have the ability to train junior personnel

| Counter-IED Instructor | – Graduate of the Navy School of Explosive Ordinance Disposal (NAVSCHOLEOD) or civilian equivalent and have a minimum of four (4) years of military or civilian experience as an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technician.
– Capability and experience to teach Counter-IED and IED defeat principles, concepts, and tactics – Comprehensive understanding of current IED / mine threats in mounted and dismounted operations – Capability to instruct students in a walking lane and in mounted operations in an IED-rich training scenarios. – Meet all Fieldcraft Instructor Qualifications—Company requirement |
| Medical Lead Instructor | – Minimum of four (4) years of military experience in a military career field that is responsible for providing medical services to deployed forces, such as Independent Duty Medical Technician (USAF IDMT), Combat Medic, or U.S.N Corpsman (HM) with deployed experience supporting combat forces
– Meet same qualifications as the other Medical Instructors |
| Medical Instructors | – A licensed paramedic (state or national), Medical Doctor (MD), Physician’s Assistant (PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or current (within the last 12 months) Army Military Occupational Specialty 68W, Health Care Specialist; or 18D, Special Operations Medical Sergeant.
– Maintain a certificate from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians or applicable credentialing agency. The certificate shall be current and in good standing. This type of certification is recognized for individuals who have completed EMT-B or advanced medical training. |
| Weapons Sustainment Instructors | – Minimum of four (4) years of military experience within the last 10 years in a career field (AFSC/MOS) that regularly employs dismounted small unit tactics.
– Capability to instruct students on the fundamentals of handling, operating, and zeroing the M16 series rifle, engaging pop up targets with a military rifle and/or M9 pistol. – Capability to serve as a block/range official as assigned on a live fire range. – Capability of intra-range transport and issuing of ammunition for live fire training. – Meet all Fieldcraft Instructor Qualifications—Company requirement |
| High Threat Driving Instructors | – Have driver training credentials/certification and tactical driving experience within the last 2 years.
– Possess a knowledge base and skill set sufficient to instruct and demonstrate proficiency by conducting exercises such as: Slalom, off road driving skills, high speed turns, alternate driver drills, evasive lane change, reverse slalom, vehicle push out/push through, and attack scenarios – Meet all Fieldcraft Instructor Qualifications—Company requirement |
| General OPFOR/Role Player Requirements | – Prior experience with military assault rifles
– Gender mix of OPFOR and Role Players – Able to become qualified to operate: M16, M4, Blanks and Dye-Marking Cartridges – Exercise dependent, possess prior military experience or country specific cultural expertise and and/or Iraq/Afghanistan cultural expertise and language skills. – Strong oral communications skills. – Pass a background check that would not preclude handling weapons, ammunition, or pyrotechnics or represent a risk to U.S. Military personnel. – Willing to sign a letter of non-disclosure upon assumption of duties – Physically fit, to conduct basic infantry skills including running in all terrains, climbing over obstacles, carrying 60 lbs of military gear in inclement weather in all seasons. |
| Role Player | – Scenario dependent, able to operate Government owned or rented vehicles High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), Pick-up trucks, Vans, Stake-bed/light duty trucks
– Perform duties in an austere environment with limited infrastructure (including running water, power, HVAC etc.) – Able to work in an urban/mounted operations training – Willing to be shot at with blank-firing weapons or dye-marking cartridges – For Foreign Language Speakers: capable of portraying civilians, government officials, religious leaders, tribal elders, interpreters, etc., as required. |
| OPFOR | – Able to integrate in scenarios using real military weapons, equipment and vehicles in a multitude of situations such as hostile forces, ambushes, sniper, friendly forces, police, terrorist, etc.
– Able to engage in physical contact as required for training scenarios. |
