Job Title: Weapons Based Course Instructors
Location: CENSECFOR Learning Site Gulfport, MS
Duties: Provide Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) and Naval Special Warfare (NSW) personnel with basic expeditionary combat skills training necessary to professionally and safely perform high risk security operations when assigned to Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) or Naval Special Warfare (NSW) organizations.
Required:
- SECRET clearance
- US Citizen and possess a valid Driver’s License
- Able to pass medical, drug and psychological screening
- Two (2) years of documented tactical military operational experience
- Two (2) years of experience delivering weapons-based courses-of-instruction which includes live-fire training
- Must be familiar with the M9 Service Pistol and M4 Carbine and capable of achieving and maintaining a “Sharpshooter” qualification
- Completed one of the small arms instructor courses IAW OPNAVINST 3591.1F
- Have attended the Navy Instructor Training Course (NITC) (A-012-0077) (or military service equivalent)
- Instructor training via an academic institution, Academic credentialing (teacher/professor)
- Knowledge of basic and advanced training techniques
- Knowledge of computer technology application as it applies to instructional presentation and the use of classroom training aids
- 2 years of experience as an instructor delivering training
- Possess a current certification in Basic First Aid and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Possess above average communication skills
Desired:
- Capable of demonstrating modern dynamic combat shooting skills
- Qualified to instruct CBRNE topics, C-IED topics, Basic Tactical Communications,
Convoy Operations and Judgement-based Engagement Training (JET) topics
