Job Title: Field Artillery Allied Officer Preparatory Course Instructor

Location: Fort Sill, Oklahoma

Duties: The Field Artillery Allied Officer Preparatory Course Instructor shall instruct and evaluate international students attending the Allied Officer Preparatory Course in Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) and Gunnery tasks following a set POI and lesson plans. The instructor shall refine, and keep updated, the existing one-week course on basic Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) and one week course on Gunnery for Allied Officer Prep students and instruct this course six times a year. The instructor shall tailor individual training sessions to create situations requiring the student to perform techniques in areas of weakness. The instructor shall teach gunnery to Basic Officer Leaders Course level B (BOLC-B) and FA CCC students when requested by the government. The instructor shall analyze training materials to assure instructional techniques are effective and efficient, and ensure training objectives are met through the use of the System Approach to Training (SAT), and train the trainer procedures. The contractor shall design and develop objectives, test items, lesson material, lesson plans, and shall review and revise existing training material for inclusion of the latest information available. The instructor shall introduce new equipment into the training program if needed, and validate instruction prior to implementation

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizen
  • SECRET Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Graduate of Field Artillery Captain’s Career Course (FA CCC) or Marine Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS)
  • U.S. Army or Marine Battalion as a Fire Direction Officer (FDO) on the M777A1/A2 or M119A2/A3 or the M109A6 Paladin weapons systems and their upgraded versions.

Desired: Graduate Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) or other service school equivalent
