Job Title:  TCM BCT Fires – Cannon Future Analyst

Location:  Fort Sill, Oklahoma

Duties: Capture and document user required capabilities and capability gaps for input into Capabilities Needs Assessments (CNA) IAW the CNA annual cycle, Initial Capability Documents (ICD), Capability Development Documents (CDD), Capability Production Documents (CPD) and/or other required Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) documents as required to support future cannon systems.  Review, analyze, and provide input as the lead integrator for developmental efforts on future cannon artillery capabilities; provide subject matter expertise to support future cannon artillery requirements for inclusion into Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leader Development, Personnel, Facilities (DOTMLPF). Coordinate and staff potential system development/improvements with materiel developers, operational units (Active and Army National Guard), and other CDID directorates/COE’s, USMC, USN, Test Officers, HQDA Staff, DOD Staff, and Multinational Services to ensure future cannon systems meet user requirements.

Required:

  • US Citizen
  • SECRET clearance
  • Minimum of fifteen (15)  years’ experience within the Department of Defense (DoD) including military operations, doctrine, concepts, the material acquisition process or force development
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in DoD Artillery Units/Organizations with three (3) years’ experience in Self-Propelled or Towed Cannon Field Artillery Units / Organizations
  • Minimum two (2) years’ specialized experience in combat developments or DoD Acquisition (IAW DoD Directive 5000.02) Including Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leader Development, Personnel, Facilities, (DOTMLPF) integration activities for a cannon artillery system
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in arts or science, and have achieved a Military Education Level (MEL) 4.

Desired: Graduate of the Common Faculty Development Program – Instructor Course or Army Basic Instructor Course, and Support Cadre Training Course
