Job Title: Senior Artillery Analyst (Support Lessons Learned)

Location:  Fort Sill, Oklahoma 

Duties Serve as a qualified expert to coordinate, plan, and conduct interviews with unit leadership from command level through platoon leadership in CONUS and OCONUS. These sessions will capture current and evolving Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for inclusion into FCOE (Fires Center of Excellence) Programs of Instruction (POIs) and doctrinal publications. Assist in administering the Field Artillery LL (Lessons Learned) Web page and be certified in Knowledge Management Operations.   Publish and print a LL flyer and other handouts to support briefings and the interview collections process. Participate in the execution of Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE) Rotations for Fires units to capture TTPs and LL. Receive, research, and respond to Requests for Information from Field Commanders

Required:

  • US Citizen
  • SECRET clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • MEL 4 graduate
  • Deployment experience in but not limited to Iraq, Afghanistan, Europe, and/or the Horn of Africa within the last ten (10) years
  • Direct staff level experience at Battalion, Brigade, and/or DIVARTY operations
  • Experience as a Fire Support Officer, Operations Officer and/or Battalion Executive Officer
  • Lead for a Security Force Assistance Advisor Team or former Battalion Commander
  • Certified small group instructor
  • Compliant with ethical standards and relevant conflict of interest statutes
  • Certified in Knowledge & Innovation Management
