Job Title:  TCM Field Artillery Brigade – DIVARTY: DIVARTY Rockets ( 2 Positions)

Location:  Fort Sill, Oklahoma

Duties: Capture and document user required capabilities and capability gaps for input into Capabilities Needs Assessments (CNA) IAW the CNA annual cycle, Initial Capability Production Documents (ICD), Capability Development Documents (CDD), Capability Production Documents (CPD) and/or other required Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) documents as required to support future Precision Fires Rockets and Missile System (PFRMS). Review, analyze, and provide input as the lead integrator for developmental efforts on future PFRMS capabilities. Coordinate and staff potential system development/improvements with materiel developers, operational units, other CDID directorates/COE’s, USMC, USN, Test Officers, Program Managers (PM), Program Executive Officers (PEO),  HQDA Staff, DOD Staff, and Multinational Services.  Develop / update associated tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and review applicable Field Artillery/Fires manuals with the Directorate of Training and Doctrine (DOTD), FCOE Master Gunner Division to develop updates reflecting the addition of any new artillery PFRMS capabilities ensuring that information is prepared for inclusion in relevant Field Artillery manuals and doctrine.

Required:

  • US Citizen
  • SECRET clearance
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience within the Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Experience must include a minimum ten (10) years’ experience in DoD Artillery Units/Organizations with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Field Artillery Launchers (M270 and M142) and Multiple Launch Rocket System of Munitions
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in combat developments or the Acquisition process IAW DoD Directive 5000.02 that include Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leader Development, Personnel, Facilities, (DOTMLPF) for Precision Fires Rockets and Missile System (PFRMS)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in arts or science, and have completed the Captain’s Career Course or higher level of Professional Military Education l.

Desired: Graduate of the Common Faculty Development Program – Instructor Course or Army Basic Instructor Course, and Support Cadre Training Course
