Job Title:  TCM Fires Cell – Fire Support System Capability Integration Subject Matter Expert

Location:  Fort Sill, Oklahoma

Duties: Evaluate the design performance capabilities of emerging organizations, Fire Support mounted/dismounted precision targeting systems, mission equipment packages and associated Fire Support tactical data systems (hereafter referred to as systems/capabilities), considering all Doctrine, Organization, Training Materiel, Leader Development, Personnel, Facilities (DOTML-PF) domains to assess mitigation of current and future capability gaps.  Review, analyze, and evaluate systems / capabilities, regarding program compliance with current requirements, acquisition regulations and policies; provide subject matter expertise to systems related integrated product team venues, design reviews, and test events; develop briefings, prepare fact sheets, talking papers, decision papers and information paper in support of systems/capabilities; develop/update new system/capability TTPs and ensure that information is prepared for inclusion in relevant Field Artillery manuals and doctrine

Required:

  • US Citizen
  • SECRET clearance
  • Masters Degree with minimum of eight (8)  years’ of specialized experience or / Bachelor’s degree with minimum of twelve (12) years of current or relevant specialized experience
  • Specialized experience in Fire Support  roles as a 13F/131A/13A or (USMC 0861/0802/0803) and/or Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems (JCIDS) acquisition experience
  • Minimum ten (10) years’ cumulative operational experience in Field Artillery
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the development, review and staffing of FA related doctrine documents and publications
  • Knowledge of fire support sensor (mounted and dismounted) and Fire Support tactical data systems capability and organizations (knowledge reflects ten years’ cumulative FA experience) specified in each task

Desired: Graduate of the Common Faculty Development Program – Instructor Course or Army Basic Instructor Course, and Support Cadre Training Course
