Job Title:  TCM AAMDCPatriot Subject Matter Expert

Location:  Fort Sill, Oklahoma

Duties: Capture and document user required capabilities and capability gaps for input into Initial Capability Production Documents (ICD), Capability Development Documents (CDD), Capability Production Documents (CPD) and/or other required JCIDS documents as required to support future Patriot and Lower Tier efforts. Review, analyze, and provide Patriot and Lower Tier subject matter expertise across the DOTMLPF domains. Coordinate and staff potential system development/ improvements with materiel developers, operational units, other CDID directorates/ COE’s, Test Officers, HQDA Staff, and DOD Staff to ensure Patriot and Lower Tier products meet user requirements and provides needed capabilities for future force structures. Assist with and recommend, develop/update associated TTPs and review applicable Air Defense Artillery/ Fires manuals with the Directorate of Training and Doctrine (DOTD) and FCOE staff. Track and recommend changes to the Army force structure, provide input into future Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP), Army Acquisition Objectives (AAO), and Force Design Updates (FDU) affecting Patriot and Lower Tier efforts.

Required:

  • US Citizen
  • SECRET clearance
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and have at least five (5)  years’ cumulative operational or program experience in Patriot or an Associates’ Degree with ten (10) years’ cumulative operational or program experience in Patriot or twenty (20) years’ cumulative operational or program experience in Air and Missile Defense Operations shall be acceptable in lieu of a degree
  • Experience in the development, review and staffing Air Defense related documents and publications
  • Background experience and knowledge base in Patriot training, defense design planning, tactical and maintenance/logistic operations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate conceptual ideas in writing and orally articulate thoughts to support the development of  Army and Fires concepts, doctrine and tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs)

Desired: Graduate of the Common Faculty Development Program – Instructor Course or Army Basic Instructor Course, and Support Cadre Training Course
